What is definition of Unemployed and employed in India ?
In India a guy is said to be employed only if he worked in Govt. Department. There is popular statement in India
“करेम त नौकरी सरकारी न ता बेचम तरकारी” means I will join only Govt Job else I will sell Vegetable.
Whatever the view is. I seen many guy who registered themselves as Unemployed in Employment office instead they are working in a private firm or involving in business. So u can understand the definition of employment in India.
